Before deciding to concentrate fully upon consultancy, I built up broad and valuable commercial experience in pharma, fast-moving consumer goods, media and market research as well as consulting. As a key account manager I worked with all the big names in pharmaceuticals, and as sales director I sat on the Dutch management team of a US multinational. I was also managing director of a smaller business.
In consultancy, my focus is strategic and implementation issues in life sciences. My clients are mainly either European or Benelux head offices. Outcomes management, organisational change and Market Access are just some of the themes I work on regularly. This broad mix of experience guarantees creative, meaningful and workable solutions.
By nature, I focus upon the feasible and upon solutions supported within the organisation. I do not shy away from a challenge, but I do dare to tell things like they are.
Drive and energy are the heart of my working style, and are evident to my team and the client alike. I draw that energy from constructive and creative discussion with all concerned. As far as possible, a solution is something we build together. And by solution I do not mean a report, but an actual implementation with acceptance by the organisation.
I am an energetic and enthusiastic person with a healthy dose of humour. My two daughters are a great source of inspiration and pleasure for me. I like to spend my free time working around the house, sharing good food and drink with friends and being out and about with the family.
