During my bachelors in Biology I realized that there is a gap between science and business, resulting in a delay in the implementation of newly discovered scientific innovations. To help with the translation of science to the world of business I chose a masters in Science and Business Management. During this masters I did an internship at IQVIA Consulting Services and stayed there for a period of 3 years.
During this time I gained a lot of experience in various areas of the life science industry, with a special interest for quality of life and patient-reported outcomes. I discovered my passion for making a lasting impact in healthcare and thereby improving lives of patients.
What I particularly enjoy about being a consultant is the thrill of solving complex puzzles with a team and working together to reach the best possible solution to a problem. I am enthusiastic, analytical and a team player who enjoys working with a group of diverse people as I truly believe that 1+1=3.
I am a highly-energetic person who enjoys being around others. Practicing different kinds of sports including field hockey, running, cycling and CrossFit helps me loose some energy and makes me very happy. In my free time I enjoy cooking for family and friends, being outside in nature and reading a good book.
