With a foundation in Neuroscience and a master’s degrees in both Health Economics and Bioethics, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to complex healthcare challenges. During my internships, I focused on reimbursement of expensive medicines, particularly looking into the Dutch ‘lock’ (Pakketsluis) policy instrument. My Bioethics thesis further deepened my understanding of European legislation surrounding orphan drugs. These experiences have fueled my interest in the business side of healthcare, where innovation and policy intersect to shape sustainable healthcare systems.
Through my different studies I have gained analytical, communicative and practical experience in the Healthcare sector. This allows me to approach complex problems from different angles and arrive at creative solutions. I am proud of my enthusiasm and positive attitude, as well as my ability to unite different perspectives.
In my free time, I enjoy long-distance hiking and spending time in nature. Whenever possible, I head into the mountains to trek from hut to hut, and more recently, to experience the freedom of wild camping. Furthermore, I find joy in cooking and knitting as creative ways to relax.
