Since graduating in Biopharmaceutical Sciences, pharma has remained the common thread running through my working life. Before joining Vintura I was an international project manager in clinical research (phases 1-3) with Astellas and GSK, where I learnt to work in a multidisciplinary team with people from different cultures.
At Vintura I have gained consultancy skills, such as conceptual thinking and structuring. Projects I have led or otherwise been involved in have ranged from strategy development and implementation to organisational analysis and optimisation, as well as programme and change management.
Collaboration is crucial for me. It imparts far greater energy, and in any case I believe passionately that 1+1=3. That makes me a good fit with Vintura, because here we love to bring people together. Internally as colleagues, of course, but also – indeed, even more so, if that is possible – externally with our clients.
Managing a project is second nature for me, and I am no stranger to complex issues, reducing them to the essentials. On top of that, because I was a client myself for many years, I understand what matters to them: is this going to work in practice?
Ultimately, only one result counts for me: a smile on the client’s face. When that appears, my own smile just follows naturally.
In whatever I do, at work or in my personal life, I put in a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm. I love travelling with my boyfriend – and now with our young daughter as well. You will regularly find me in good restaurants with friends, enjoying the food and a nice glass of wine. Sport has always been important to me, as well, and at the moment I am mainly into running, XCO and skiing. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury has forced me to give up my favourite sport of all, softball.
I also enjoy trying new things, and still have plenty on my list. So who knows what will be next? Learning the piano, perhaps, or becoming an animal ambulance volunteer.
